It started with stacks of documents. Around the same time, two of our families faced major life changes. Everything important was scattered across documents and cities. There was no roadmap to piece it together. No view on what good looked like. Just piles of paper and not enough time. Working with leading wealth managers, we saw that they faced the same challenge we did: time. Time to review the documents. Time to cross reference the information. Time to see the whole picture. Time to get it right. After more than 20 years building data and analytics solutions for global financial institutions, we knew where to start. Now Kete helps more advisors solve these problems for more families. In a decade at DST and then at SS&C he founded DST’s North American Applied Analytics Group and led digital strategy for its financial services business. He then launched Slalom’s Kansas City market as General Manager. He was Head of Data Commercialization at DST Systems and Director of Data Science at SS&C, and at WPP he led data and analytics for Google, The Coca-Cola Company and PlayStation, bringing fragmented, multi-market data into a single reliable view. At Kete, he applies the same discipline to wealth management. At Slalom Consulting he led delivery of large-scale systems, including a platform that ran 40 million machine-learning models in six hours to guide crop seed selection. He has since led AI and mobile platform work at STEPS Consulting and Freight Science. At Kete, he leads Engineering, building a secure, scalable platform that turns advisors’ documents and data into insights they can trust. - ![Sarah Alread](https://www.getkete.com/hs-fs/hubfs/raw_assets/public/kete-theme/images/team/sarah-alread.jpg?width=112&height=112&name=sarah-alread.jpg) ### Sarah Alread Head of Product & UX Sarah has spent a decade building SaaS applications across healthcare, financial services and enterprise technology, with roles at Gartner, SS&C and DST. Her experience leading and scaling high-performing product teams, combined with her design background, brings a rare balance of business goals and customer needs, turning customer friction into clear product direction. At Kete, she leads Product and UX, translating what households and their advisors need into a platform that makes holistic planning simpler. Our name ## What is a kete? A kete is a traditional New Zealand flax basket created by the indigenous Māori people. Kete are woven by hand to store important and useful things. In Māori legend, Tāne, the god of the forests, brought knowledge to mankind in three kete, providing wisdom to guide the people. Kete are central to the sharing of knowledge within families and communities. Their creation forms bonds between the weavers, and they support the storage and sharing of valuable items for individuals and the community.
